The title says it all. I had been leaning toward a “C” mn with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (although I don’t have a particular one in mind yet), but I like this a lot, and love that it reminds me of travel, which I love to do! I’d love to share that love with my children one day. (Plus, Somerled is super duper cool.)
Thanks, everyone! I’m glad it seems to be so well received. I’m starting to think of full combos, and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_u]James[/name_u] is at the top of my list. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] might also be options. I’m keen on a “B” second middle, if I can find one I like, to honor my grandfather, who was just LB (no full names for the initials).
@[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - another [name_u]Berry[/name_u] suggested it to me, actually? ([name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled in full, I mean.) But I have heard Somerled mentioned here and there since I first joined a name forum back around 2008 or 2009? It means “summer traveler”, and was apparently the name of some Scottish warlord in the 1200s or something. According to behindthename.com.
Thanks, ladies! I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled has officially become my [name_m]Leo[/name_m] combo! I’m trying it out for a while, just to be sure, but I still really love it. I think I’m going with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_u]James[/name_u] for now, although that could change in the next little bit (maybe to [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]?)–I was really hoping for a “B” name with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] to honor my grandpa. ah, well. I’m really happy with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] Somerled [name_u]James[/name_u] for now!
