I’ve been really crushing hard on [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]–wdyt of it? I’ve struggled so long with [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] combos that sometimes I think my judgment is skewered. She just feels so dainty and feminine to me, and I’ve been looking for the perfect FN for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], and I’m wondering if I’ve found her. What would you think if you met a little [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]?
Any second MN ideas? So far I’m thinking of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] or [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], but I’m not sure. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] Bloom?
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] is so, so lovely! [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] look/sounds beautiful, but I do prefer the one syllable in the third place. Maybe [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]?
If there’s no second MN, I might go for either [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Lilian[/name_f].
It looks very pretty, but to be honest, I find [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] a little tongue-twistery. I think it’s because of all the “l” sounds and the repeated “il” in each name. If you simplified it to [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] or even [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], I think it would work better. Or maybe put the third name (preferably with no “l” at all) in between them?
I agree it’s very pretty but a bit of a mouthful. Too many L’s I think. I guess that’s why rose, [name_f]Anne[/name_f], grace, may ect are popular mn because they compliment a pretty fn but don’t compete with it. I think [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] kind of compete with each other. From your choices I would go with [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. I don’t really see the need for a second middle.
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is a lovely combo, with a very pretty and frilly, dainty and sweet vintage-chic vibe, but I agree with PPs that it doesn’t flow so well. The many I and L sounds are a bit of a tongue-twister. I was going to suggest [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] too. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] or [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] Bloom would be lovely- I like the subtle floral connection between [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]/Bloom.
I agree that while both names are lovely, they’re kind of a lot together—I can’t get past the repeating -ilia/illia sound they both have. I like the idea of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] instead. Or if you’re feeling really daring, maybe [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]?
Middle-wise, I’d go with [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] or [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f].
