WDYT of Marianne/Marianna?

I prefer this name to Mary or Marie, but not as much as Maria. Also, do Marianne Emma and Marianna Emmaline flow well as combos?

I’d use it before [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_u]Maria[/name_u], or [name_f]Mary[/name_f], but I’d prefer [name_f]Mariette[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]. Have always gone by [name_u]Marie[/name_u], and have always felt that my name should have been [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] or [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] just to have a more substantial name rather than two filler-sounding. I do feel like [name_f]Marianna[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], [name_u]Marion[/name_u], [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] are much more interesting.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] love love [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]! Not crazy about [name_f]Marianna[/name_f], but I do like [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] (ending with awn-uh). The -anne/-anna to [name_f]Emma[/name_f]- is a bit much for me, honestly.

I love Marianne. So elegant and pretty. Marianne is nice too :relaxed:

Marianne Emma is cute. I find Marianna Emmaline a bit over-frilly.

I like both better with one “n”, for whatever reason - [name_f]Mariane[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariana[/name_f]. I know a ~30-year-old [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and the name has grown on me because of her!

[name_f]Marianne[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] works pretty well to me. [name_f]Marianna[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] less so… I think they both feel like compound word kinds of names and that makes them seem a bit cumbersome together.

I like [name_f]Marianna[/name_f] [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f].

Particularly love [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] but like [name_f]Marianna[/name_f] too. I don’t mind either combo, they’re perfectly nice, but do agree with this
