I’d like it much more if it was the [name_f]Maren[/name_f] spelling!
I have [name_f]Maren[/name_f] in my top two with the Mare-in pronunciation, so I adore it!
I have a second cousin named [name_u]Marin[/name_u], after the [name_u]California[/name_u] county. It’s pretty, I think, though it’s not too intuitive.
i have a friend named Marin and she hasn’t had many issues with spelling or pronunciation, from what i know (: it’s not out there at all imo!
Where I live it’s a strictly masculine name, but I do like [name_f]Maren[/name_f] for a girl!
It’s beautiful. I love it even more for a boy but for a girl it’s sleek, sophisticated, travels well, not popular but feels familiar. [name_u]Perfect[/name_u]!
[name_u]Marin[/name_u] is gorgeous!!
I would pronounce it Mare-in.
Not opposed to the [name_f]Maren[/name_f] spelling!
We have one ending in -en and one in -on now, so was leaning towards -in so they each have their own ending.
I like Maren or Merryn better, because my fave pronunciation is MARE-in.
Marin to me looks like it would be pronounced MUH-rin, since I live near the California county called Marin (pronounced MUH-rin).
I love maren - it is my daughters middle name! but i’m not so keen on the marin
I think it’s okay, but I prefer it spelled [name_f]Marine[/name_f] or [name_f]Maren[/name_f].
I like, but I like [name_f]Maren[/name_f] more
