GIRLS
[name]Artemis[/name] - Really like
[name]Persephone[/name] - Really like
[name]Remington[/name] - See as more of a boys’ name, but wouldn’t use due to the gun association (and no, I’m not anti-gun)
[name]Mars[/name] - Since [name]Mars[/name] is a traditionally male deity, I wouldn’t use this name on a girl
[name]Gryphon[/name] - Not a fan of the spelling, and would prefer on a boy spelled [name]Griffin[/name]
Oracle - Too similar to the word ‘oral’ to be usable, [name]IMO[/name]
Xanthippe Osma - I assume this is pronounced “[name]Zan[/name]-thip-ee”? Prefer just [name]Xanthe[/name]. Osma is… unusual, not sure I like
[name]Pallas[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] - This is a lot of L for one name, and I prefer [name]Pallas[/name] on a boy
[name]Ocean[/name] [name]Lana[/name] - Honestly read this the first time as “[name]Ocean[/name] [name]Land[/name]”, but past that it’s not bad
[name]Logan[/name] [name]Cosma[/name] - Prefer [name]Cosima[/name]… [name]Logan[/name] [name]Cosima[/name], [name]Cosima[/name] [name]Logan[/name] is also nice
[name]Apollo[/name] - Again, traditionally male deity so I would use it for a boy, not a girl
Kairo - [name]Cairo[/name]. You can still call her [name]Cai[/name] even if you spell it correctly
[name]Olympia[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]. It’s a GP of mine, but it was apparently the nickname for prostitutes at one time, so not sure how I feel about that
[name]Liv[/name] - Very nice. Short and sweet
[name]Rome[/name] [name]Lavinia[/name] - I think I slightly prefer [name]Roma[/name], but love [name]Lavinia[/name]. Maybe [name]Lavinia[/name] [name]Rome[/name], NN [name]Liv[/name]?
[name]Venus[/name] - I think it’s usable, a la [name]Venus[/name] [name]Williams[/name]
Wilderness - I agree the word sounds nice but I can’t see any girl wanting this for a name. And I see teasing potential with “Taming the Wilderness”
[name]River[/name] [name]Kiara[/name] - Cute
[name]Forest[/name] - I know it’s a word so it’s technically genderless, but it seems more boy to me
[name]Selena[/name] [name]Rainbow[/name] - [name]Selena[/name] is lovely, [name]Rainbow[/name]… not so sure she wouldn’t be embarrassed by her middle name. The goddess [name]Iris[/name] was associated with rainbows, right? [name]Selena[/name] [name]Iris[/name] would be a GORGEOUS combo.
[name]Harte[/name] - I like it, but the E seems extraneous. [name]Hart[/name] or even [name]Hartley[/name] would be sweet
BOYS
[name]Creed[/name] - Hmm, I just don’t think the sound of this is attractive, and it’s so associated with religion I’m uncomfortable seeing it as a name
[name]Churchill[/name] - I could see this potentially being cute, but I think the “Like [name]Winston[/name] [name]Churchill[/name]?” comments would get old
[name]Raven[/name] - I could see this on a black-haired, bad-*ss teenager but not a little boy or an adult. Something to consider
[name]Haven[/name] - More feminine to me
Oracle - Again with the closeness to the word ‘oral’, I’m just not sure it’s usable
[name]Mars[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] it on a boy
[name]Winter[/name] - See [name]Haven[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] - See [name]Haven[/name]
[name]Jacob[/name] [name]Hershel[/name] - I actually really like this combo
[name]Marlow[/name] [name]Levi[/name] - Okay
[name]Nevada[/name] - Anything that ends in A tends to sound feminine
Cherokee - Unless you’re actually Native American and have a connection to the tribe, I don’t think it’s appropriate to use, sorry
[name]Aubrey[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] on a boy… one of my GPs
[name]Americus[/name] - Not a big fan
Tried to be honest… hope it wasn’t too harsh! Good luck!
