I love [name]Lachlan[/name] but I’m not a fan of [name]Thatcher[/name]. [name]Lachlan[/name] has a lot of Scottish spunk and I think it goes well with the classic [name]Alexander[/name]. [name]Thatcher[/name] is not appealing to me because (1) I’m not crazy about occupational names that end in “er” and (2) the name is still heavily connected in my mind to the “Iron Lady”, former British Prime Minister [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name]. I’m just curious as to why you think you can’t use both of them for sibling names? They sound and look different so each child would have their own distinct name. Personally, I don’t see any issue to prevent you from choosing them both if you love them. Good luck, [name]Mischa[/name].

Yay for [name]Lachlan[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]! I had to vote/comment because if it is a boy, this baby I’m having in Dec. will most likely be called…[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Lachlan[/name]!

[name]Mischa[/name]- I suppose I should have said that ideally, even though I love both names, I’ll only have one son. Ideally! But if we have two boys, both names will be used! Thanks for your feedback!!

[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Lachlan[/name]! What a coincidence!!! We have [name]Alexander[/name] because my husband loves it as a strong, manly name! But our last name has a strong Z sound and as a first name it’s too Rhymey.
