[name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - Personally, the repeated L and T sounds would make me want to juggle it around a bit, but it may not bother you. [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is lovely, but I would suggest maybe a different FN? For some reason I don’t feel [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is the best fit, even though her ‘aura’ fits beautifully. I do like this though, it has a very medieval fairytale (perhaps set in a [name_m]German[/name_m] schloss surrounded by dark forest) feel to it.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] - Really beautiful. It’s balanced, the auras complement each other, [name_f]Esme[/name_f] links the names perfectly without overshadowing or falling short of either, and the quirkiness and brownness (in a sweet-little-bird way) of [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] really brings out [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]'s queenliness and rich green, gold, and purple colours.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u] - I think this is lovely, too. Again, very balanced, and the different auras work together. I think I share your word/nature/short/unusual second MN thing too, so I definitely appreciate how these affect the combos! [name_u]Fable[/name_u] is very evocative. I also like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Saga[/name_f].
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - Not such a fan tbh. I like the names, but the whole combo feels a little as if it’s been ‘thrown together’, and the 2-2-2 syllable pattern probably doesn’t help with that. I’m also not a fan of repeated letter patterns, i.e. [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but I also think that’s more a personal thing. The repeated As also make it a little flat to me, and to my mind the auras don’t really set each other off, although naturally this is based on my perceptions of the names. Something like [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] Merewen [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would better [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Meg[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] - I really, really, really like this! I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Meg[/name_f], I love [name_f]Meg[/name_f] with a strong, long middle name like [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] just gives the whole combo that spark of magic. (I’m currently trying to work her into my own combos.) It does feel a little like it still needs some smoothing down, perhaps because of the contrast of G and TH and the ra Ir, but definitely a keeper!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Olivet[/name_f] - Again, not such a fan. Partly because I find [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] extremely bland, and putting the classic [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] next to her doesn’t improve that. [name_f]Olivet[/name_f]'s absolutely stunning, though I think [name_f]Olivine[/name_f] works better with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I’d suggest finding something with more spark and fire than [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Olivet[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Greer[/name_f] [name_f]Olivine[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] . . . she’s a bit tricky really. A shorter MN in the middle, maybe? Or at the end? [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotta[/name_f] [[name_f]Carlotta[/name_f]?) [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Catalina[/name_f] Pearl . . .
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] Maebry [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] - [name_f]Willa[/name_f] Maebry works, [name_f]Willa[/name_f] ____ [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] works, but [name_f]Willa[/name_f] Maebry [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] doesn’t [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I love both of them with [name_f]Willa[/name_f] though. Is Maebry pronounced [name_f]MAY[/name_f]-bree? [Side-note: you might like [name_f]Mabyn[/name_f].] I think [name_f]Willa[/name_f] ______ [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] or [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] ______ is my favourite of the two. Perhaps something pale yellow, or pale blue . . . [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]'s a bit long. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], perhaps? [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f]? [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] Maebry? [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is pretty.
I shall have to cut my ruminations short - I just finished your girls’ list, though! Hopefully you find all this somewhat helpful and not too negative . . . !
