WDYT of Olivia Juliet?

What are your honest opinions on the name [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]? Our last name rhymes with “Boy-er.”

Be as brutal as you want! haha

I know [name]Olivia[/name] is popular, but DH is extremely picky! lol Please give me a heads up if for some reason [name]Olivia[/name] is more popular than I realize (it’s #4 in the US), and my daughter might be stuck with 4 other [name]Olivia[/name]'s in her class.

Thank you!

It’s a pretty name, but like you say, [name]Olivia[/name] is super super popular. For myself, I wouldn’t choose it because of it’s popularity, but if it doesn’t bother you then go for it! There’s good reason it’s a top 10 name, it is a really nice name.

I think [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is a beautiful name. Popularity doesn’t bother me at all! If you love it, use it!

I, too, love [name]Olivia[/name]! It’s on my top three. When you do the math, it’s really only about one [name]Olivia[/name] per grade, which isn’t bad at all. I like the less predictable [name]Juliet[/name] to balance out the popular [name]Olivia[/name].

Good luck!

I just saw the name [name]Ollie[/name] or [name]Olly[/name]-- thought that would be kind of cute to go by if there are 4 [name]Olivia[/name]'s in her class and it bothers her.

I get turned off by popular names simply because they’re popular, so I wouldn’t go for it, but it is a great name. [name]Juliet[/name] is a gorgeous name too and I really like them both together.

I think it’s a great combo, popularity aside (I’ve only met one little [name]Olivia[/name] yet) and she could go by [name]Olive[/name] or [name]Livvy[/name] if it turns out there are that many out there.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Very regal, I like it a lot! [name]Olivia[/name] is quite popular and has been for some time. Your [name]Olivia[/name] will likely meet many others, including some who will be much older and much younger than her. It’s not a name like [name]Amber[/name] that was suddenly very popular and then disappeared, making it very common in one age group only. [name]Olivia[/name]'s popularity spans more than a generation, so it may seem more common than, say, [name]Ava[/name]. However, I think that also makes it seem less trendy. It’s a beautiful name and popular for a reason!

I know a lot of Olivias and several Alivias (including my own niece) so it is a very popular name. I don’t think popularity is the end of the world though! I had a very popular name growing up and there was always at least one other girl with my name in the class but that never really bothered me. I thought it was cool to share my name with someone. I was almost always friends with the other [name]Lindsay/name. I think [name]Olivia[/name] is a nice name, and though popular, does not have the trendy feel of something like [name]Addison[/name] or [name]Avery[/name] does. There are Olivias out there in several different age groups and the name ages very nicely

I love this combo and I quite like [name]Olivia[/name]! I agree with dillonsfan01 - I have a very popular name for my age and there was never one in my classes growing up - yes in the grade, and I agree, it’s not such a bad thing. It’s a beautiful name, and it has history - it’s “trendy” but not “a trend”, if that makes sense!

Regardless of what everyone else is naming their daughters I think it’s a gorgeous name. Classic, feminine, everything I personally enjoy in a girl’s name.

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is gorgeous!

Thank you so much!

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is truly gorgeous.
BUT [name]Olivia[/name] IS extremely popular (I know many [name]Olivia[/name]'s…there are 3 little girls on my street with the name). If that doesn’t bother you, then definitely use the name. It’s so beautiful, spunky and fun…and though popular, it’s definitely not what I’d call “trendy”.

[name]Juliet[/name] is one of my favourite names. Definitely more unusual. If the popularity of [name]Olivia[/name] bothers you, maybe use [name]Juliet[/name] as a first name, and find a different middle?

Beautiful name!

I think both names are a great choice. Popularity doesn’t bother me. It’s popular cause so many people like the name. Though I want to point out that [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is OJ. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is beautiful. The only thing that bothers me is how popular [name]Olivia[/name] is. But if that doesn’t bother you, then go for it. I love the nickname [name]Liv[/name] or [name]Livy[/name]. An alternative (if you’re open for one) would be [name]Olive[/name].

I love [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] - while [name]Olivia[/name] is very popular I think they sound so nice together and are both short and easy to say that she could always go by both in an [name]Olivia[/name] filled class. Great choice!!

I love the name! I’ve never met an [name]Olivia[/name], so it does not feel overused to me.
