My little sister just met a girl named Paradise. WDYT?
It’s certainly bold, but hey, someone had to be the first one to name their kid [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. I know Paradise more as a surname, and with the hard “d” in the middle there I’d lean toward using it for a boy.
I wouldn’t use it as a first but I like it. She could go by [name_u]Ara[/name_u], [name_u]Ari[/name_u] or [name_f]Addy[/name_f] if she wanted a more common name.
I hadn’t even thought of [name_f]Addy[/name_f] - that would be good! [name_m]Parry[/name_m] is every bit as odd as Paradise lol

Not a huge fan, it feels a bit cheesy and too religious for me. Not exactly tacky, but tacky-ish. I do think it has some cute nicknames though, I really like [name_u]Ari[/name_u].

Although I personally don’t know a Paradise, I have come across one. While watching a documentary here there was a girl named Paradise. Gloriavale a [name_m]Christian[/name_m] community here in NZ are well known for giving their kids “different names”.
Yikes. The boys will have fun with that one.
I don’t mean this to sound derogatory in any way but to me it sounds like a stage name for a stripper.
