I know someone who just named their son Junah [name]Perry[/name]…never really heard of it until then. But I do like it especially with the meaning behind it for you!! [name]Luca[/name] is one of my absolute favorites but my husband shot it down I don’t see
I just was reading your thread below mine after I posted mine. ; ) I thought it was a bit ironic, since I honestly hadn’t read your thread first and also, haven’t seen the name [name]Luca[/name] on here in a while.
The only thing that gets me with [name]Perry[/name] is that our last name starts with a P. I don’t think the intials P.P. would be too bad, but who knows. My mom has uncles name [name]Pat[/name] [name]Perri[/name], and they are just fine.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Luca[/name] - its one of my faves. As for [name]Perry[/name], I am not to sure about it. I see it more as a last name, In my case I haven’t met anyone in person with that as a name. But it may work as a MN/
Haha ironic indeed! I don’t think initial P.P. would be bad at all!! It’s not like people really go by initials from their first and last name, it’s usually first and middle names to make up the ones people go by. If that makes sense lol.
I like [name]Perry[/name]. I’ve only ever met one [name]Perry[/name], a boy in my sister’s class, and I do rather like the name. [name]Perrin[/name]/[name]Peregrine[/name] are also longer versions if you find it a bit nicknamey. [name]Luca[/name], though, I do find girly and much prefer [name]Luke[/name].
These are for boys? I like [name]Perry[/name]…familiar, yet just different enough. I prefer [name]Peri[/name] for a girl. I don’t really care for [name]Luca[/name], though, boy or girl. [name]Lucas[/name] is nice.
It’s because I am a nurse, but when I hear [name]Perry[/name], it makes me flashback to nursing school when we were learning how to do “peri cares” on patients (meaning washing bottoms). The general public probably would never make that connection, but any person in the medical field would.
