Is it still way too common these days?
I don’t think its very common now. Sounds older. I think of the show Castle
I don’t think it’s common these days. I personally find it a bit harsh
It’s quite rare on people under the age of 50. I think it still feels a little dated but has the potential to feel classic! I like it with the nickname Richie.
I like it!
It’s not common for current children. A young [name_m]Richard[/name_m] would almost certainly be the only one in his class. I really like [name_u]Ricky[/name_u] and [name_m]Ritchie[/name_m] as nicknames!
Someone was recently on Nameberry saying they had a [name_m]Richard[/name_m] with the nickname Dickens. I feel like ever since I heard that I love the name
I absolutely love Richard!! especially the nn Richie!!
[name_m]Richard[/name_m] definitely isn’t too common anymore! While it feels a little dated and isn’t my taste, I would be happy to see it on a little boy.
