[name_m]Just[/name_m] finished reading Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath. I was quite struck by these two names, Rosasharn in particular. In the novel it is short for the full name “Rose of Sharon”. What do you think of Rosasharn? Is it usable? Please give your opinion on it
The second name I encountered is Sairy.
I do not know whether it is related to [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] or not, it does sound similar however.
How would you pronounce it and wdyt of Sairy?
I would assume Sairy is a nickname for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]! I think I’d prefer another spelling, but it sounds nice.
Rosasharn is intriguing - a bold, sharp choice. I can imagine it on someone - kind of like a blend of [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] and [name_f]Sian[/name_f] - but it feels like one that would give people a pause

Rosasharn sounds like it’s the name of a skin rash.
Lol this one made me laugh. As someone from a non english speaking country I don’t get the connection though.
