WDYT of Rowan Ezra?

For some reason [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] has been in my head today. I like it for boys and girls but am leaning more towards a boy. The combo I’m really considering is [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and would love some feedback on it. Possible sibling names being [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and [name_m]Foster[/name_m].

I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for a boy or a girl as well, but I tend to think of it more as a girl’s name because the only Rowans I know happen to be girls. Not that far off from [name_u]Owen[/name_u], though, so I’m likely in a minority there. I think [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] doesn’t get the respect it ought to. Personally, I love it. Having said that…

I love, [name_f]LOVE[/name_f], [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Foster[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. I noticed on your lists of favorite names that “w’s” show up in your girl picks more often than in your boy choices. Maybe there’s something to that.

Thank you on the compliment for [name_m]Foster[/name_m] :slight_smile: It is 100% our boy name and has been for a few years now. If we have a son that will be his name. I’m just trying to find a 2nd name for a boy in case we have 2 since we want 2-3 kids. We agree on many more girl names. I do tend to have a thing for W’s, L’s and O’s :slight_smile:

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is nice but [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] doesn’t really flow because of the matchy syllables. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] would flow better.

I really like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], but how many syllables does your last name have? A 2-2-2 flow is a little too matchy, in my opinion at least.
