Oh my god, your poll options are hysterical. I voted it’s all right, but realistically I like it a little more than all right, but not quite at the silk pillow/crown level. I think [name_f]Sable[/name_f] sounds soft and usable, but it’s not particularly sparkly or charming. [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] does give it a kick of pizzazz, though.

I actually just suggested this name for my sister but she’s nixed it. I think it would fit in well with the [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]'s & [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]'s.

I’d rate [name_f]Sable[/name_f] as a tea that you spit out because there’s not enough sugar :smiley:

I don’t know. I can understand it’s appeal. But as someone who made something around 100 brushes during high school and college, I just think of paint brushes.

I would not use [name_f]Sable[/name_f] on a human being.

isn’t sable an animal? If I can buy sable gloves, I don’t want that to be my name - sorry.
Otherwise I would think it’s cute - like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f].
