I think [name]Fifine[/name] is whimsical and unusual enough that it could really work. I think [name]Poppy[/name] is way too much of a stretch. [name]Sophie[/name] maybe, but I wouldn’t do it. Try Sephie? It’s really cute and original.

I love the suggestion of Sephie. The others aren’t my style. I love [name]Josephine[/name] though and my favorite nickname is [name]Effie[/name].

[name]Fifine[/name]–it’s fun and whimsical, but not really my thing. I like Fi a lot more. It is interesting, though.

[name]Poppy[/name]–isn’t [name]Poppy[/name] a recognized nn for [name]Josephine[/name]? Like, fairly widely recognized? I like it as a nn for [name]Josephine[/name], but as my children will call my father “[name]Poppy[/name]”, it’s pretty unusable to me. I prefer [name]Posey[/name], but I do like [name]Poppy[/name], too.

[name]Sophie[/name]–dawww. I know [name]Sophie[/name]'s so popular, and it’s a stretch to get [name]Josephine[/name], nn [name]Sophie[/name], but not too much, I think. Besides, every time I see [name]Sophie[/name] I smile. :slight_smile:
