[name_u]Joss[/name_u] Whedon (director, writer, [name_f]Buffy[/name_f]) and [name_u]Joss[/name_u] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] (UK soul singer) are two of my favorites. WDYT of the name [name_u]Joss[/name_u]? It means the merry one. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s a problem that it’s a unisex name?
I went to school with a [name_u]Joss[/name_u] who would now be in his 20’s. It’s not my style at all, but I definitely see it as a boy name.
I do know a girl named [name_f]Joscelyn[/name_f] who has the nickname [name_u]Joss[/name_u] though.
I love it! I prefer it for a boy. But here, in the UK, [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] with nn [name_u]Joss[/name_u] is quite a popular name, so I think it would be seen as a little strange on a boy here. I would probably use it as a nickname for [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] (same as [name_u]Joss[/name_u] Whedon).
I love it! I think it would be cute on wither gender, but I would probably assume a baby ‘[name_u]Joss[/name_u]’ was a boy
Agree with this ![]()
I prefer it on a girl, just because [name_u]Joss[/name_u] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] is so wonderful. I think it makes a really spunky name.
I think it’s awesome as a nickname for [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] or [name_m]Josiah[/name_m] but I wouldn’t use it just on its own.
I agree with a few posters: I love [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] nn [name_u]Joss[/name_u]
I love it, on either gender. I would probably use it on a boy… for [name_m]Joseph[/name_m].
I think joss whedon just because I’m a fan
It’s a cute name I like it
