I agree with rollo. I think you can still honour your family member by using [name]Annalise[/name]/[name]Annelise[/name]/[name]Anneliese[/name].
I like [name]Annalise[/name] but I could never use it I stayed with my current boyfriend. His Goddaughter’s name is [name]Annalise[/name] so I prob wouldn’t name my kid [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Lee[/name] unless we broke up but if so I like [name]Annalee[/name] more than [name]Annalise[/name] anyways. “[name]Lee[/name]” is my brother’s middle name and both of my gpa’s mn’s too!

I do hear “anally” but the main reason is because of Family [name]Guy[/name]. Quagmire has a daughter in one episode and names her [name]Anna[/name] [name]Lee[/name], and that was the joke (sounding like anally even though it’s not pronounced the same). I don’t think it’s terrible but it’s something I personally think of.
I personally wouldnt hear it as anally, and I think anna lee is cute. However since there could be that association I might stay clear of it. I agree with one of the posters that [name]Annabel[/name] lee is very cute and also annaliese.
