[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]> I love [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] but not Briget
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f]> [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] skeptical on [name_f]Amoret[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Valkyrie> Like it
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f]> Good combo again
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]> Very nice choice, love [name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]> [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]> Nope to both of them
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is so old sounding I don’t like it
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], not a combo I like
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]> good
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m]> good
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ludwig[/name_m]> [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] is better
[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]> [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] reminds me Eastern Anatolian towns, idk why
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m], good
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m], [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] is better
[name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m], nice I think not a fan of Beowolf though
[name_m]Thorin[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m], nice
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m], very nice
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], good
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], a bit generic but nice
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]: This is a lovely combo. Flows well.
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f]: I stumble a little saying this one aloud. I might pair each name with something else.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Valkyrie: [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] sound, a little much for me since both names are words…but I think still usable as a combo.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f]: [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is tired and has been for some time. It’s also harsh and only reminds me of harlot. That said, this combo is interesting.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]: Again the flow is off a smidge as I stumble getting from [name_f]Helena[/name_f] to [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]. Both gorgeous names though.
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]: I love this.
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]: I don’t really like these names together, though they are both fine. It just seems really dated to me as a combo.
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]:I’m not a fan of [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is okay.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]: I’m beginning to get sick of [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but this is a nice combo.
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]: Good combo but I’m currently trying to deal with a male student whose name is [name_u]Robin[/name_u] and he is getting teased mercilessly. I’m not sure it’s accepted yet as a male name again, at least not in an American school.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m]: I love this and in fact, have this combo switched on our own list.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ludwig[/name_m]: I like [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] better.
[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]: This looks a little pretentious to me with the two names together. I’d pair either name with something else.
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m]: I dislike [name_u]Percy[/name_u], it sounds so nasally. [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m] is a cool middle name, though.
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m]: I don’t really like either name and I do not think they flow together well.
[name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m]: The combo works but…I’m not sure about [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] either. As an English teacher, I’d never name my child that.
[name_m]Thorin[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]: Very handsome combo.
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m]: I really like both names a lot. But…something seems off about the combo. [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m] is quite nice.
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]: See [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] would work better in my opinion. I’m all for using unique names, but I believe a nice balance works best.
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]: Nice!
Being harsh:
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and much prefer all her sister names. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] sounds very dated to me.
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] - the y dates [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] a lot (as it gives it the lyn/n ending which gives it a grandma vibe), [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] is not for me
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Valkyrie - love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], Valyrie is a bit harsh for me
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] - [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is beautiful, [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] is interesting, not for me, but interesting
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] - [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is lovely, [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] is again, not for me but interesting
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] - [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] is cool, [name_f]Melody[/name_f] is not for me
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - love [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is nice and goes well with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] but I don’t love it (but then I love few names with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] ;))
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] - [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is nice, [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is nice, nice name
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] - love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] is not for me
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] - very cool
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] - depending on your [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] prn., I either really like the combo (loo-see-is) or really don’t (loo-shis)
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ludwig[/name_m] - sounds very heavy though both names are nice
[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] - neither is a favourite but they work together
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m] - not a huge fan
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] - maybe I just don’t like [name_u]Percy[/name_u] very much?
[name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] - interesting combo though not my style
[name_m]Thorin[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] - love [name_m]Edward[/name_m], and I prefer softer boys names, so [name_m]Thorin[/name_m] is not for me
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m] - this is lovely
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] - very nice
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] - not big on [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] but I love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
One suggestion: quite a few of your girls combos have the FN ending in the same letter/sound the middle starts with. A lot of people may dislike those combos because you either have to place a heavy, awkward pause between them, or risk them running together. For example [name_f]Helena[/name_f] Amythest will often sound like [name_f]Helen[/name_f] Amythest unless you emphasize the syllables, which causes an unpleasant repetition.
Otherwise, I think all the names are quite nice, despite some awkward flow here and there.
While a lot of the names aren’t my thing, I think all of the combos flow, look and sound great. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Valkyrie is by far my favourite - she’s gorgeous!
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - I like both
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Amoret[/name_f], but I’m not crazy about [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Valkyrie - I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] (especially with the nickname [name_f]Rora[/name_f]), and Valkyrie is also awesome. This is my fave girl pick
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this one
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] - It’s an odd combination, but I like both and they do sort of flow.
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] - I like melody but [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] confuses me. Are You going for ‘[name_u]Raven[/name_u]-a’ or ‘[name_m]Ravine[/name_m]-a’ or something else entirely?
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is okay, but I’d switch 'em around.
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] - Not fond of either
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and Magalena is very unique. It makes a nice pair.
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] - I love both names here.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] - I think think could work.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ludwig[/name_m] - This pair is a little harder on the tongue. And the brain.
[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] - I like [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m], [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] is OK.
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m] - [name_u]Percy[/name_u] is great, and [name_m]Gaspar[/name_m] is growing on me.
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] - [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] is just eh
[name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] - I like this spelling of [name_m]Erik[/name_m], but I think ‘[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m]’ is a little much.
[name_m]Thorin[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] - I’m not sure if this flows great, but I’m always a slut for [name_m]Thorin[/name_m], and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] isn’t all bad
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m] - I like [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m], not sure about [name_m]Emil[/name_m].
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] - [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is GREAT. I like [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] too but I’m not sure if they really work together.
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. This is definitley my favourite guy pic
