This is a great list! I think all of these fit well with your other favourites.
[name_m]Andreas[/name_m]: This is a great name — I’m surprised not to hear it more! It’s been popular throughout Europe for years but has never really caught on in English-speaking countries. Still, it’s very familiar and pronounceable, and feels solid and traditional but still distinctive.
[name_u]August[/name_u]/[name_m]Augustin[/name_m]: One of my favourites! The whole “[name_u]August[/name_u]” family of names feels so regal and refined to me, and Auggie is an adorable nickname (I prefer it to [name_u]Gus[/name_u], personally). My slight preference for a first name is strong and simple [name_u]August[/name_u] over [name_m]Augustin[/name_m], but the latter is gorgeous too.
[name_m]Bridger[/name_m]: If surname/occupation names are your thing, this is definitely a cool and original option. I don’t love it personally, but that’s only because it’s not really my style.
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u]: [name_m]Just[/name_m] lovely! I love short, punchy names and this one has such a calm, sensitive, outdoorsy vibe to me. [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is perfect.
[name_m]Eero[/name_m]: [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a fantastic combo! [name_m]Eero[/name_m] is definitely a very cool choice, but I wonder if the spelling and pronunciation might prove a little too problematic for real-life use?
[name_m]Joel[/name_m]: Simple, traditional yet never overused. You can’t really go wrong with that winning formula, but I don’t find [name_m]Joel[/name_m] the most exciting option on this list. A good, solid choice though.
[name_m]Lorcan[/name_m]: This is such a great alternative to the likes of [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]! I think it’s very handsome and deserves much more attention.
[name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]: I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this (full disclosure: it’s my husband’s name!) I often see it described as too much/too stuffy, but I think it’s a really versatile choice that shortens easily and intuitively to several great nicknames ([name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_m]Maxim[/name_m], [name_m]Sim[/name_m]… DH even gets “Mill” sometimes). I would love to see this considered more!
[name_m]Orson[/name_m]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] it. It sounds very on-trend with that -son ending, but [name_m]Orson[/name_m] Welles also gives it a shot of literary cred. Adorable meaning too.
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]: See [name_m]Bridger[/name_m]. I like it a lot in the abstract, and think it’s a great choice, even if it’s not my usual style.
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u]: My favourite spelling of this name, although probably not the easiest one to live with. I do find [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]/[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] a bit overdone, though.
