I’m hoping I can get some feedback on some recent crushes. WDYT? And any other ideas of something I might like?
[name_f]My[/name_f] current crushes are:
[name_f]Leanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
They are all beautiful! [name_f]My[/name_f] particular favourites are [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] but you won’t go wrong with any of these. Maybe you might like [name_f]Celia[/name_f]?
I love love love [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (nn Stella?) and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is also gorgeous though I prefer the spelling [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] but completely up to you.
Leanna - strong but sweet Estelle - elegant and lovely Eliza -spiky but sweet Isabel - elegant and pretty Rachel - a little unexciting but nice enough Iris -sharp but sweet Lily -friendly and bright Juliet -literary and elegant
Leanna-I don’t mind it. It’s not my favorite; maybe it feels a little bit of a smoosh-name. But it has a pleasant sound & isn’t too complicated or over done. I like the possibility of the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f].
Estelle-This is nice. It’s elegant & smart & classy. Simple but not too popular & has cute nn options. I like [name_f]Estella[/name_f] even more, because it’s just so romantic. But [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is a bit less dramatic, so whichever you prefer!
Eliza-This is nice. I feel like I should like it more than I do, because it’s vintage & smart & feminine & a little quirky. I think that I prefer it as a nn for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but it totally works on its own. It’s just getting quickly popular (probably because of Hamilton), which kind of bugs me.
Isabel-A nice name. A tad over done, but it’s pleasant. I like this spelling or [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] much more than [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. It looks sleeker.
Rachel-I’m not into this name. It’s just a bit dated & I’ve known a lot of crazy girls named [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] growing up.
Iris-I want to like it because it’s a vintage botanical name. But I just don’t like the sound.
Lily-Love it. I prefer [name_f]Lilie[/name_f], but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is much easier. It’s really popular, but it’s a super sweet classic that’s hard to say w/out a smile.
Juliet-Elegant & romantic & sweet & classic. I love this spelling more than [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. It feels sleeker. I’m always surprised that this name isn’t more popular.
[name_f]Leanna[/name_f]: Doesn’t sound elegant to me, so I don’t like it. Prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f].
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]: Slightly frumpy, but I do like its ethereal quality.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]: Smart, romantic, and jazzy, I should adore this name! But when I say it out loud, I trip up over the “E” beginning – “Ee-Li-Za” v. “Uh-Li-Za.” Also, it sounds kinda harsh, but it’s still a wonderful name that I may come around to someday.
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]: Sweet, safe, boring, and maybe a touch too frilly for me.
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f]: I’ve always liked the name, [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]. It sounds smart and humbly beautiful. I just don’t like the nn Rach.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]: I don’t like the prominent “Eye” sound at the beginning.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]: Sweet, safe, boring, and literary. I have it on my list, but it’ll often be misspelled as [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] by unconscientious people, so it’s losing its luster for me.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: Prefer [name_f]Julia[/name_f], but this is a great name! The hard “ette” ending messes with me, though.
