Okay, honest opinions!
[name]Amelia[/name]: I love [name]Amelia[/name], though it’s a bit too popular for me.
[name]Arden[/name]: Not a fan of surnames as first names, but this is one of the more tolerable for me.
[name]Audrey[/name]: I really like it, but again, it’s fairly popular.
[name]Banning[/name]: Is this a mistake?? [name]Banning[/name]? Seriously?
[name]Bellamy[/name]: I think it’s masculine sounding, and it has a trendy feel.
[name]Blythe[/name]: I’m not a huge fan (it sounds lispy to me) but there’s nothing wrong with it.
[name]Caroline[/name] nn CeCe: I love [name]Caroline[/name], and Cece is a nice creative nickname (especially with a C middle name).
[name]Chandler[/name]: Oh yuck, I don’t see the appeal. It means ‘candle stick maker’. Also, [name]Chandler[/name] [name]Bing[/name].
[name]Eloise[/name] nn [name]Lola[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it!! [name]Eloise[/name] is a new favorite of mine, and [name]Lola[/name] is a really nice nickname.
[name]Frances[/name] nn Francey: I love [name]Frances[/name].
[name]Hazel[/name]: [name]Hazel[/name] is great!
[name]Helena[/name]: I love [name]Helena[/name], too!
[name]Holland[/name]: No. Place names are trendy and I don’t think I’d be able to take a [name]Holland[/name] seriously.
[name]Janna[/name]: Hm… nothing terribly wrong, but I don’t like it. [name]How[/name] about [name]Jane[/name]?
[name]Katarina[/name] nn [name]Nina[/name]: I really like this! I also like [name]Kat[/name] as a nickname, though [name]Nina[/name] is pretty too.
[name]Kendall[/name]: Trendy surname, I don’t find it at all attractive.
[name]Leah[/name]: Nice and classic-- you can’t go wrong with [name]Leah[/name].
[name]Matilda[/name]: Very pretty, but not my favorite on your list.
[name]Ramona[/name]: It’s growing on me, mostly thanks to [name]Ramona[/name] [name]Quimby[/name]. I’d love to see a little [name]Ramona[/name]!
[name]Remington[/name] nn [name]Remy[/name]: Ditto [name]Kendall[/name], only more.
[name]Susannah[/name]: I really like [name]Susannah[/name].
[name]Tabitha[/name]: Nice, but not my favorite.
[name]Violet[/name]: It’s a lovely name, though a bit trendy.
My favorites are [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Helena[/name], and [name]Violet[/name]. Funnily, I love half your list and very much dislike the other half! Oh, and [name]Miriam[/name] is gorgeous too!
[name]Asher[/name]: [name]Even[/name] though I know it’s not, it sounds made-up in order to follow the [name]Ash[/name] trendy. It’s not a bad name, though.
[name]Baker[/name]: As a first name? No. It’s too obviously an occupational surname.
[name]Benjamin[/name]: I love [name]Benjamin[/name]!
[name]Byron[/name]: Interesting. A nice alternative to the dated [name]Brian[/name].
[name]Conrad[/name]: [name]Conrad[/name] is a new interest of mine. I like it!
[name]Dexter[/name]: I think the TV show renders it unusable, and besides that, I’m just not a fan.
[name]John[/name] nn [name]Jack[/name]: Nice to see [name]Jack[/name] as a nickname for once!
[name]Henry[/name]: One of my favorites.
[name]Hollis[/name] nn [name]Holly[/name]: I don’t like surnames as first names, and I’m afraid [name]Hollis[/name]/[name]Holly[/name] is too feminine nowadays.
[name]Leo[/name]: I love [name]Leo[/name]!
[name]Lucas[/name]: Great name!
[name]Magnus[/name]: Eh. Middle name territory, I think.
[name]Montgomery[/name] nn [name]Monty[/name]: [name]Way[/name] over the top.
[name]Parrish[/name]: Like a church parrish??
[name]Robert[/name] nn [name]Rip[/name]: What’s the appeal in [name]Rip[/name]? [name]Robert[/name] is nice.
[name]Soren[/name]: I’m not really a fan, but it’s okay.
[name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Theo[/name]: I love it!
[name]Winthrop[/name] nn [name]Winnie[/name]: Again, not a fan of surnames as firsts, but [name]Winnie[/name] is interesting to see on a boy…
[name]Wolfgang[/name] nn Wolfie: See [name]Magnus[/name].
My favorites are [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Conrad[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Leo[/name], and [name]Theodore[/name].
