Hello ladies (and gents?)! I have recently began crushing on the name [name]Wren[/name] for a baby girl. WDYT of this name? [name]Do[/name] you think it will become too popular in the future? [name]Do[/name] you have any middle name suggestions? Please do not be shy . . . I’d appreciate your honest opinions. Thank you so much!
It’s actually a name on my list, and I love it, but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to use it.
From your signature I would pick [name]Wren[/name] [name]Audrey[/name] or [name]Wren[/name] [name]Livia[/name] Can’t think of anything else off hand, but I’m sure the other berries will!
I think it’s really cute and see it being more popular with folks as a middle name since it’s one syllable. Therefore, maybe more of a unique first name? I’m not sure about middle names for it, that would take a little more thought…
I like [name]Wren[/name]. Its not a name I’d use, but it is definitely cool on someone else. As for its popularity, I am not so sure. I have never met a [name]Wren[/name], but I have encountered it on several peoples’ name lists online and on this board.
For a middle name, I think you should go with a long one. Some ideas:
I adore [name]Wren[/name]! It’s on my list as [name]Wren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Meryl[/name].
I don’t see it getting overly popular at all.
Not a fan. I think it is increasing in popularity but I don’t think it’ll make it into the top 100 or anything. Still, just a little too trendy and not very pretty. I do love the nn [name]Birdie[/name] a ton and I see it as the only advantage to the name.
Here are some combos I like with [name]Wren[/name]:
My sister said she wanted to use this name but her DH wouldn’t go for it so she went with [name]Rowan[/name]. I am not keen on either as I prefer more feminine/frilly names but find it to be more fitting in the middle spot, when people are often looking for single syllable names.
I like [name]Wren[/name] on others people’s kids, I think it is a fresh, fun option that sounds like it would age well, just not really my style. I think you should go with a longer, feminine middle.

I really like it. My mother’s maiden name is Renshaw, so I consider using [name]Wren[/name] as a first or a middle, to honour her side of the family. I think it’s beautiful, fresh and natural-sounding. I also can’t imagine it becoming popular or trendy…other than on Nameberry, maybe!
I absolutely adore [name]Wren[/name]! It’s quirky without being flashy; girly without being frilly; understated without lacking character; charming, beautiful, natural, fun, sweet. I absolutely love it. I’ve thought about it as a FN and would absolutely love to meet a [name]Wren[/name], but I would probably use it as a MN myself. [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Camille[/name] is my third favorite name for a girl.
I see the appeal. It’s a quirky/cute nature name…kinda like [name]Birdie[/name], but way safer and more conventional…I like the look of the name written, but say it aloud and I hear “[name]Ren[/name]” and think [name]Ren[/name] and Stimpy. I prefer the much less fashionable [name]Robin[/name] or the more out-there [name]Starling[/name].
