WDYT of this name

So i’ve recently come across this name again… a name I loved so much… but never used it at the time.

So… What do you think of the name Tameryn..

Pronounced like [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] with a T; It’s unisex but I would have said it leans more to being more feminine than masculine.

Thoughts on the name… It is of australian origin

Other variants of the name are- Tameron, Tamerin, Tameren, Tamron, [name_f]Tamryn[/name_f]

Combination Of [name_m]Tam[/name_m] And [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]

I dislike it, especially with the letter Y. It feels made-up to me and I just don’t like the sound. Sorry!

I prefer the similar [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]. Tameryn just feels like a trendy alternative to [name_u]Cameron[/name_u].

Yes; [name_f]Tasmin[/name_f] is much better and sounds less made up to me. The name seems just too fake
Sorry.

It reminds me of the [name_f]Tamarind[/name_f] tree.

I know a Tamaryn (not 100% sure on spelling) and she goes by only [name_f]Tami[/name_f]. the nickname is awesome on her, prefer it to the actual name

Tamarin is a kind of primate.

I like Tameryn / Tamerin, but I pronounce it a lot differently to [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]. I’ve met Tameryns before, and none of them pronounced it in a way that would rhyme with [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] ([name_u]Cam[/name_u]-ron or even [name_u]Cam[/name_u]-er-on - I’ve never heard “[name_u]Camerin[/name_u]”). Tameryn if it were pronounced “[name_m]Tam[/name_m]-ron” I would find strange/made up.

My preference would be for the [name_f]Tamryn[/name_f] spelling.

Makes me think of Tamarin monkeys. I’d also pronounce [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] and ‘tameryn’ differently. I used Tamarin as a name in my book but I can’t imagine it on a real person.

Sorry, but I find this name just awful. The spelling, the sound, and it seems completely made up. Also reminds me of tamarind - a bitter and sour association…

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondered what ppl thought. i have a name i will be using f a girl just came across and thought hmm what do ppl think…
