Like? Dislike? Why?
NN’s? MN’s?
I know a girl named Winter and personally like the name, esp with NN Winrie, but I know it is controversial and would love feedback.

I don’t understand why [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is controversial; it’s one of my faves for a [name_u]December[/name_u] through [name_u]March[/name_u] baby. Nobody even blinks at [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]; in fact, they’re on the edge of overused and boring, in my opinion. People are even starting to use [name_f]Spring[/name_f] now.
I love word names. So maybe I’m not the best person to ask, but [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is definitely one of my top three. I wanted it for our daughter but her daddy had dibs on the first name selection. I love everything about this name… so easy to spell and pronounce, doesn’t sound like anything else, and it’s a lovely concept.
Pretty. Unusual. Crisp. I would love to meet a baby [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] winter!
I love winter, I have [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] on my list!
I like it a lot, and I don’t see it unusable/‘controversial’ at all - [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Summer[/name_f] are common as names, so why not [name_u]Winter[/name_u]?
I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I have a thing for the combo [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and I would absolutely use it. Also since I love names with two middles this combo somehow completes almost every name for me… like [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] winter [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
i know a baby [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. Personally I don’t like it at all.
I think it’s okay, though it’s not one I’d call my child.
I am in the minority, I am not a fan of [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. Maybe just because I don’t like the cold! I just son’t think it sounds pretty.
