It is one of the few hubby and I agree on…

I like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] ([name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would be stunning) but not [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]. Place names have never been my style.

It’s an acceptable choice, but I find it a bit dated and dull (mostly [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]).

I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], but I like the way the name sounds. I love [name_f]Kate[/name_f]!

Hubby loves [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]. I didn’t as much at first, but it has grown on mostly me because he loves it. I wouldn’t consider it as a fn though. We both love [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and how it’s short and sweet with our longer last name. Thanks for the input!

I love the idea of [name_f]Kate[/name_f] with your surname! I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f], personally, but I can understand why you’d want the short-and-sweet [name_f]Kate[/name_f] with a longer surname. I grew up with a just [name_f]Kate[/name_f], and she never had any problems. Her only grievance was how many times people tried to call her [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. I find [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] to be so starkly different, though, that it doesn’t mesh well for me. Taking suggestions from your list–what about [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]? [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]? [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f]? [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f]? [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]?

I don’t care for either names really… I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].
