[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]?

Also considering the name [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], but I think that [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] is winning with us on [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] v. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. I like the flow of [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], too, even though I might not have put them together before.

I’d love to honor a family member (i.e. my grandmother) but I feel like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Valeria[/name_f] or [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] don’t have the same sort of flow. I like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but in addition to it honoring my grandmother, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is also the namesake of a family member that we quite dislike.

Any opinions?

Thanks!

I love [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] but would want to pair it with a spunkier middle name. [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] would make better sisters, imo. None of your other combos really jump out at me though. What about [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]? I think that’s the perfect balance and gorgeous to boot.

I think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] is a lovely name, but [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] sounds a bit old-fashioned… I like what the poster before me said, [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]! I also like:

[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Darcie[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!

Oh! I didn’t think of putting [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_u]Dove[/name_u] together, but I think that’s mostly because I’m still wishing that hubby would let me use [name_u]Dove[/name_u] for a first name (he hates it!)

Maybe I can wiggle in there and see if he will consider it for a middle name! I’ll report back with his answer ;D

I agree that the flow of [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is better than [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].

Here are some twists on the honor names you mentioned that you might like:

I agree with others - I like both [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], but together it’s a little too old-fashioned. Plus, the repetitive “th” sound is a little much. They would work much better as sisters.

[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] or [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]?

I really like the idea of something spunkier like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]. If he won’t go for it as the middle, maybe he would consider it being a second middle name like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]?

I really dont like any of those names; far too outdated imo. If I had to, I would stick with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] over [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] looks too much like the word ‘angry’ to me. [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is even more outdated than the first. I think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] would actually be pretty cute with a more modern - yet traditional and feminine - middle name.
Here are some suggestions;
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Laura[/name_f]

[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I really do think flower names go lovely in the middle spot, with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]!

Can I just say, I disagree with EVERYONE and think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous? It sounds sophisticated and airy and I adore it. Great name!

I like [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. I dislike the repeating ‘th’ in [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Holly[/name_f] would be a wonderful name!

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Holly[/name_f]

I love the name [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] its sweet and classic. [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] i think is a nice combo but it doesnt have that spark to it in my opinion.

I like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] way more than [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] has pop and looks better written down.

Thanks for all the input, guys! I can’t get him to come around to my two favorites: [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. I do really like the idea of a spunky middle name!

Anymore spunky middle suggestions?
