I have a step-son [name_u]Brennan[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] (not my favorite but also not my choice)
We have these names narrowed down for another boy
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_u]Memphis[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
and Now [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] I’m loving.
does that go or too close to [name_u]Brennan[/name_u]?
Plus any suggestions for a mn? We tend to use family names but haven’t heard one that we have that I like with it.

I really like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], moreso than [name_m]Archer[/name_m] or [name_u]Memphis[/name_u], for sure. It feels a little more timeless, warm and fun, with several nickname options, if you so choose.
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] sounds fine but just feels really trendy to me, and the middle name [name_m]John[/name_m] I really dislike just because it feels blah to me, and unfinished.
[name_u]Memphis[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] I really dislike because both of the names are famous cities. If it has a different middle name, possibly, but it just doesn’t feel as substantial or “real” as [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], and is lacking the warmth, to me.
I would recommend a shorter middle name for [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], depending on the length of your last name. You have the room to go a little spunky, maybe nature-y.
