Hatilyn? I heard it earlier and was kind of iffy. It sounds made up to me, but at the same time i like it a little because of the nn [name]Hattie[/name]. WDYT? What other names can be used with the nickname [name]Hattie[/name]?
My first thought pronounced “Hate-lyn” as in rymes with [name]Caitlyn[/name] but with pre-fix “Hate”…not really what I would want for a sweet baby.
I also would’ve pronounced it like Hate-lyn. I do like the nn [name]Hattie[/name] and only know of the name [name]Harriet[/name] that has this nn.
I saw “Hate” too, and it does feel on the invented side of things to me. I love [name]Hattie[/name] as a nickname for both [name]Harriet[/name] and [name]Henrietta[/name], but I’ve also seen it used on its own. I think that [name]Hattie[/name] is so sweet!
