I would like to know your opinion on [name]Bella[/name] as first name. Is it alright for [name]Bella[/name] to be first name?
I think it’s fine.
[name]Love[/name], love, love [name]Bella[/name]. However, I wouldn’t use it on its own, personally. I am completely in love with the idea of having a future daughter named [name]Bella[/name], but I can’t imagine it aging well over about the age of 7, so I would go with something a bit fuller, or even use just [name]Belle[/name] (which somehow ages better, imo), with the nn [name]Bella[/name].
I totally agree with [name]Ashley[/name].
It’s ok if you add good middle name. It’s not good as only name… Like… [name]Bella[/name] [name]Ashley[/name] [name]Adams[/name] is ok, while [name]Bella[/name] [name]Adams[/name] is a bit frilly and spunky. But, that my subjective opinion, as I think [name]Bella[/name] is too short as name.
I don’t particularly like it, I feel like every other baby girl is a [name]Bella[/name] (usually an [name]Isabella[/name]/[name]Arabella[/name]/[name]Annabel[/name] or something else that shortens to [name]Bella[/name]) and it feels very childish to me. But I think it can work as a given name, though I would give it something with a bit more substance as it does feel very nicknamey, probably due to the oceans of nn Bellas that are out there.
I know a [name]Bella[/name], just [name]Bella[/name] nothing else and I think it works just fine
I feel the same as essjay. [name]Every[/name] other girl I meet has a baby named [name]Bella[/name]. I’m so sick of it. I would recommend using a longer, less common first name, [name]Arabella[/name] for example.
[name]Hi[/name], berries! Thank you very much for the feedbacks. I agreed with the fact that there are so many Bellas out there, and the fact that it might not age well. Not to mention that it is more often use as a nm. But I just love to have a baby girl name [name]Bella[/name]. It is such a dilemma.
