Ok, please don’t attack me guys, I’m not judging this couple, I’m just curious as to your opinions!
I know a couple who’s second daughter is due any day now. They have a 14mth old [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and have chosen [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] for their second. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_u]Dakota[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think these names actually go together? What are your general thoughts of these names, separately and together?
I don’t think siblings’ names necessarily have to go together, but I do know Native Americans hold their names sacred, and I recall reading an article about how using tribe names and other Native names is considered disrespectful or offensive by some in the Native community by people who aren’t Native American, like [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] is to the Jews.
They’re not bad together, but aren’t exactly my choice for siblings. I think about Fanning sisters, but they aren’t bad connection at all.
Well, pretty close to [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning so I guess they’re not the first sibset with these names! 
I don’t think that they go badly together, and I like both names individually.
Neither are particularly my style, but they aren’t outrageous and they work alright. There are worse names out there.
