It popped into my head recently and I thought it would make a cool nickname for [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] or [name_f]Sabina[/name_f]. I’m pretty sure I’ve read it before in a book - something to do with the colour white/cream and owls?? - and wondered what people thought of it. I mentally pronounce it [name_m]SAY[/name_m]-bah (like sabre!!) but SAR-bah could also be correct.
[name_f]Saba[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Saba[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Saba[/name_f] [name_f]Therese[/name_f]
[name_f]Saba[/name_f] [name_f]Evening[/name_f]
I had a Persian girl in my high school named [name_f]Saba[/name_f] pronounced SA as in [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and BA as in [name_f]Babette[/name_f]. I like it but I think it warrants deep research! My moms name is [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and people called her Sabby or [name_u]Boo[/name_u] as a kid, but now no nickname.
I adore [name_f]Saba[/name_f] and [name_f]Sabina[/name_f]. I pronounce it SAH-bah. I too read [name_f]Saba[/name_f] in a book, I recall it was the main character of a book called Blood [name_u]Red[/name_u] Road.
I am really like [name_f]Saba[/name_f]! I had never heard or seen it before, but I think it’s beautiful. I like the [name_m]SAY[/name_m] bah pronunciation better.
[name_f]Saba[/name_f] in Hebrew means grandfather.
