We have a baby boy on the way and are stuck on a couple of names.
We both like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but think it is too popular.
My wife likes [name_m]Linus[/name_m], I don’t.
I like [name_u]August[/name_u], she doesn’t.
The middle name will be [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] to honor her father.
Our last name is two syllables - begins with “S” and ends in “er”
He will be the brother of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Kristine[/name_f].
You guys have a great naming style - [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], and [name_u]August[/name_u] are all great to me. And, I especially love [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]! Here are some suggestions that might work for you:
I think [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] is an extremely handsome combo and would compliment [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Kristine[/name_f] beautifully as they are both timeless, stylish classics! Also, because of [name_f]Olive[/name_f]'s similarity to the popular [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], I wouldn’t worry about [name_m]Henry[/name_m]‘s popularity as it would be another way to subtly tie the siblings’ names together!
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] is definitely more popular now than it was a decade ago (it’s in the top 30), but we’re still talking about .5% of boys with this name. That’s, like, maybe 1 per grade in a large elementary school. You both love the name. Use it! [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let other people’s usage deter you from using a name you both love.
I like [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m], but we are trying to stay away from names ending in “er” due to our last name. They sound a little sing-songy.
We really like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] too. We had always planned on that name, but were disappointed when it became so popular. We may still use it, but are exploring other options.
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m] is quite handsome!
Some ideas
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and Armunn [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_m]Gerard[/name_m] [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]
I know a bunch of baby Henrys. If that bothers you, I’d go with something else or call him [name_m]Hank[/name_m] (which I think is a great name). [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] come to mind. Most of those are my great uncles’ names, and they seem to have come back into style.
