Interesting! I’m Aussie and never met a [name]Matilda[/name] and I teach children.
I’m glad the points made by jeska and emiliaj has been bought up as I am also living in Australia…not Australian but with an Aussi partner… He and various other aussi friends have told me that they have yet to meet a [name]Matilda[/name]…I havent met one yet in almost ten years of living here!!..I’m very aware though that it is much more popular here than elsewhere and if i’m not mistaken its been in top 20 in recent years which I guess does factor into final decision! Any other aussies out there with thoughts on this?

Its been really helpful, confirmed middle name choice and while I’m still not 100% decided on first name… I’m hoping that when I meet her I will know for sure whether she is [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Valentine[/name] or [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Valentine[/name] and that she will cast the final vote

I voted for aurora valentine. I think it’s perfect. I must admit, I don’t think you’ll gO wrong with either, however, I’m not a fan of nn in general, and it aura especially… Makes me think astrologists and burning sage - not that there’s anything wrong with that. [name]Bluebelle[/name] is an ice cream to me.

I’ve always liked [name]Bluebelle[/name] a lot but I’ve never a name it sounded that great with, but [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] is just about perfect.
