Our first baby is due December 2021. We do not know if this babe is a girl or a boy, however, we have a boy name and a girl name picked: Finnegan and Lola. My husband loves both the names, so he thinks he’s done with name sorting… I don’t think so! Haha we have a whole middle name to think of! He’s leaving the middle name with me, so I get to have fun with it.

My interest in Scout caught me by surprise. I already imagine Lola as a cool girl name, and Scout is definitely a ‘cool girl’ name, so they would certainly complement each other. However, Lola is also a sweet, vintage name and I’d love to keep some ‘old lady-ness’ to the name, hence Beatrice and Ruby.
Our last name ends in ‘ly’ and ends on an 'ee" sound, so names like Daisy, Poppy are out, unfortunately!
