If baby number two is a boy, the decision is between…
[name_u]Cass[/name_u] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u].
Big sister is [name_f]Elin[/name_f]. We are worried [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is too popular and that [name_u]Cass[/name_u] sounds too feminine. We are running out of time! Opinions or thoughts, anyone?
I think [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is lovely, and I’ve never met or even heard of a [name_u]Beau[/name_u], so I don’t think its popularity should be worrying. [name_f]Elin[/name_f] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] make a lovely set of siblings too.
I personally sm not a fan of [name_u]Beau[/name_u], but I do like [name_u]Cass[/name_u], and I think the spelling [name_m]Cas[/name_m] makes it less feminine, though I dont think [name_u]Cass[/name_u] is that feminine either.
Both are nice names! I went to high school with a [name_u]Cass[/name_u], a boy, and he didn’t seem to have any issues with it there? I guess it helped that there were no Cassidys or Cassandras or Cassies at the school at the time. If you’re worried about it, though, I think [name_f]Elin[/name_f] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m] are fantastic together, and you could still call him [name_m]Cas[/name_m].
Of these two, though, I think [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is my favorite. I’m a huge [name_u]Beau[/name_u]/[name_u]Bo[/name_u] fan.
Both are lovely and both sound great with [name_f]Elin[/name_f]! I especially love [name_u]Cass[/name_u] though, definitely don’t think it’s too feminine.
I think [name_u]Cass[/name_u] would work for a boy, but is more common on girls so you might have people assuming he’s a girl from seeing his name sometimes. [name_u]Beau[/name_u] isn’t too popular at all; I’ve never met or known one or heard of it used as a name outside Nameberry (and Gone With the Wind, haha). I like both but my vote would go to [name_u]Beau[/name_u].
I don’t think [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is becoming to popular. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] nn [name_m]Cash[/name_m]. It’s a little more masculine sounding and very cool!
