My husband and I both absolutely adore the name [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. It is the only name we both agree on and also has family significance. The only problem is our surname starts with A (making the long ‘a’ sound, the same as at the start of [name_f]Ada[/name_f]), meaning that both her first and surname would start with the same sound. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that matters?
I personally think alliteration names are really sweet and charming! Think I don’t think it’d be a problem.
Ada is lovely! I think alliteration can be really fun, although admittedly it does depend on the combo for me. As long as the rest of your last name has different sounds from [name_f]Ada[/name_f], I don’t think it’s a problem at all! You could even look at it as something that makes her name extra memorable If your last name has strong “d” sounds or ends in the same sound as [name_f]Ada[/name_f], that’s where I could see things maybe getting a little trickier.
Ada is sooooo pretty. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Senara[/name_f] S__________ and I’ve never found it an issue. Use [name_f]Ada[/name_f], it’s fabulous
I think alliteration is charming, and it often makes a name more memorable for me since it adds a bit of pep and liveliness!
Though, it can depend on the last name itself. If the sounds of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and the rest of your last name are quite different, I think it’s just fine! For example, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Ableman would work nicely, since there’s not any prominent ‘d’ sounds in the last name.
I think it works!
I think it works! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Ada[/name_f], by the way!
I think it could work
It would not matter to me. I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] (and [name_f]Ida[/name_f]).
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f], and I think it’ll work just fine. Alliteration names are sweet and memorable
Without knowing your exact surname, I will say that it doesn’t sound like it’s a problem. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] sounds like a great name for you!
