We need advice đź’ž

Hi everyone! We already have a 4-year-old boy named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Theodor[/name_m] [name_m]Elliott[/name_m] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m], and we have just welcomed a baby girl, but we can’t decide on a name! Here are our final options:

[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] Pitseleh [name_m]Wagner[/name_m]

[name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] Pitseleh [name_m]Wagner[/name_m]

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] Pitseleh [name_m]Wagner[/name_m].

What are your thoughts? We live in [name_f]Europe[/name_f], my partner is [name_m]German[/name_m] and I’m italian. Pitseleh is the title of my favourite song

Either [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] or [name_f]Nova[/name_f], those (at least to me) go best with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]

I’d go [name_f]Tilda[/name_f]. I’m in the US where [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is a medication so it rules it out for me.

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is an allergy medicine in the US. [name_m]Not[/name_m] sure if it is well known in [name_f]Europe[/name_f]. So there’s that association but I still think it’s a beautiful name and I like it better than [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and [name_f]Tilda[/name_f]. I think it flows best with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m].

Congrats!!

[name_f]Nova[/name_f] feels very on the nose to me, and [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] doesn’t quite fit. [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is the sweet spot! [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] name!

I love [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Tilda[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] the best! If you use [name_f]Nova[/name_f] it might lock you into a “spacey” names category (because supernova → nova). however if you really love [name_f]Nova[/name_f] use her, [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Nova[/name_f] are adorable as well!

[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] is my vote! So sweet and sophisticated :pink_heart:

I think [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Nova[/name_f] gets my vote. It’s a bit on the nose, but they’re just so cute! [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] are very vintage charm, which is sweet, but not my style and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is only a medication to me. That being said, it may not be where you are, and all three options are gorgeous. Good luck!

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] or [name_f]Nova[/name_f]!

[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] doesn’t really match with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] in my opinion.

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] for me! I love [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] together! [name_f]Nova[/name_f] feels a little too on the nose for me, and while I do love [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] together, I couldn’t pass up on Allegra’s joyful meaning!

Good luck!

I like the sound of [name_f]Allegra[/name_f], but unfortunately think of the medicine, as many above have said! However, if this isn’t a popular association in [name_f]Europe[/name_f], it would be my top pick.

I actually like [name_f]Nova[/name_f] with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] the best, but don’t love the flow of [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (too many v sounds in a row for me). I don’t feel very strongly about [name_f]Tilda[/name_f], positive or negative.

[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is such a cool name! I’ve heard of a YouTuber with a big family who has twins named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and I’ve always thought those names paired really well together.

I think all three of your options could work beautifully, just for different reasons. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] does feel a little more heavily tied to the celestial/space theme alongside [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], so it depends on whether you like that association or would prefer something a bit more distinct. Personally, I think it could be quite cool and might even make the sibling names feel the most cohesive. I do agree with others that [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] doesn’t have the smoothest flow because of the two V sounds so close together, but unless you’ll be saying her first and middle names together often, I don’t think it’s a huge issue.

[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] feels bright, fun and full of personality, which works really well with Cosmo’s quirkiness. Together, I think they have a lovely vintage charm without feeling too matchy.

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] feels a little more grand and elegant in comparison, but I can still see it working well with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], depending on which aspects of his name you’re drawn to. I also love that [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] has a connection to your Italian heritage, which makes it feel especially meaningful.

Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them! They each have a distinct feel while still working well alongside [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. My order of preference would be: [name_f]Tilda[/name_f], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_f]Allegra[/name_f]

Big congratulations!

My first instinct was to say [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] as it’s my personal favourite from your short list but on second thoughts, [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] feels like a better energy match with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. While both have that chic, European vibe, [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] seems sweet and a little reserved beside [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], whereas [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] feels lively and vibrant. I wouldn’t normally describe [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] that way, but something about the combination of vowels and consonants in [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] gives the name a big presence and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] stands up to that. I would suggest [name_f]Greta[/name_f] as a blend of [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f], but your final options are great.

Team [name_f]Nova[/name_f]

I answered you on your other post, but I’ll say again: [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m] is the easiest to say, and she’s charming as well!

[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] gets my vote!

All are great, but [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is my favorite!
