What do you think? I feel like I’ve researched the same [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] pretty thoroughly, but is there anything we’re not realizing that might make us reconsider?

I think my hangup with [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is the similarity to magnum. It definitely feels more bold than the others, but [name_u]Gus[/name_u] fits in. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Angus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u]? They feel a little more toned down to me.
I absolutely love the name [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]! A real favourite of mine, and great with [name_m]George[/name_m] and the cool nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u]
I love how the addition of [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] adds a dash of classic quirkiness to your very lovely royal sibset. The names are amazing together!
We know [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is a bit unexpected with our sibset. Most people who know us are probably placing their bets on [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
But [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is a classic, historical name – a royal name even, just not British royal. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] isn’t common, but it is used in English-speaking countries. We like the sound of [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] with the other kids’ names, and we feel like [name_u]Gus[/name_u] fits right in with the other kids’ nicknames.
It’s a bit of a bold choice for us, and we still have a couple of months to potentially get cold feet. But right now we’re feeling happy with [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], and the positive feedback has helped.
