After so much thought, deliberation, and prayer—we ended up with our top girl & boy names…then we got to wait & wait…ha! Longest suspense ever! We were ALL sure it was a boy…but you never really know! I was 8 days past due date when I finally went into labor the night before my birthday! Then, I delivered ON my birthday!
This was a special connection for many reasons, but one of them was that my mother who loved to review birth stories with each of her own children (on our birthdays) …told me mine for the final time 3 years ago, on my birthday, just 10 days before she passed away at the young age of 62.
Remembering that moment as I labored, it is now a forever connection that we both birthed baby GIRLS on June 29.
Our 4th daughter’s (7th child!) name choice fits her perfectly!
Jaël Agapé
Like the story of Jael in the Bible, we hope & pray she will become a warrior woman, counted on in a great time of need. Agape represents the unconditional love we pray she will always feel from her family, God, and carry for others.
She joins big siblings Amaré Elyse, Job Marcellus, Sélah Carys, Boaz Apollos, Shiloh Moses, & Noémi Hesed.
We are blessed with our full crew of 7.
