What would you think of the name [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]? Especially on a little girl that looks like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]? (this is the coloring I have and that I will most likely pass on unless the baby is a ginger like my fiance)
[name_m]Rocket[/name_m] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is a name both my fiance and I love but will likely never use because it’s obviously kind of ridiculous. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it in theory at least? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Rocket[/name_m] as a nickname? We do live in a city that would be accepting of this kind of name. I will say that we are both fond of traditional names not in the top 1000s so these names are out there for us.
What are some names like this that you dream of? Looking for some fun Friday night ideas about GPs!
[name_m]Rocket[/name_m] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is awesome. I like it a lot, and I encourage you to think about using it. I think it has spunk and frills. She could always go by primrose or prim if she wanted something tamer.
My GP name is [name_f]Godiva[/name_f] - I absolutely positively adore this name. I love the story of the Lady [name_f]Godiva[/name_f] who campaigned for tax relief, I love the meaning and the sound, I’m even a fan of the old Lady [name_f]Godiva[/name_f] song. Strangely the thing I can’t bear is the chocolate company. That is what many people think of first when they hear the name, and I think it’d sound like I named my daughter after some fancy chocolates. No better than naming my kid after a pretty car.
Maybe I should use it anyways…I think it would be a challenging name to bear.

I love [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] too, but only as a middle name. It reminds me too much of the character (which i love).
My ultimate GP is Proserpine. I absolutely adore it, but its unusuable in my country.

If you’re worried about [name_m]Rocket[/name_m] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] being too much then maybe you could switch it around so it’s [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_m]Rocket[/name_m]? I barely have any names I like that I personally consider to be GPs (though I know others might consider some/many of the names I like as such), but I think my ultimate GP is [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] is such a pretty name, but the obvious “dork” thing means it’s basically unusable. I also like Dandelion!
These names are too far out there for me. [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] reminds me of The [name_m]Adams[/name_m] Family and I just can’t picture [name_m]Rocket[/name_m] as a little girl, woman or Grandma. I think it’s better suited for a boy if at all. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] isn’t my style. I would not encourage naming a child these names. My GP names would include [name_u]Wynter[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] (I named my dog [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] because I wasn’t brace enough to use it on my daughter)
