[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] - we know two Lailas and this is way too close. Otherwise, we might have picked it.
Aleira - heard this name watching some random reality competition show and a girl’s name is Aleira. Someone mentioned that it sounded “pharma” since it sounds like a drug and it ruined it for us, especially my wife.
Thought it’d be more exciting but it’s proven to be quite exhausting.
I think [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] is really pretty. Are you pronouncing it like [name_f]Isla[/name_f]? If so, I don’t think it’s too close to [name_f]Laila[/name_f].

Thanks all. I’ve read through all the suggestions. Someone asked about [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and we are pronouncing it as [name_f]Layla[/name_f] without the L.
I ran some names using the name generator and came across [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] and thought it was pronounced Me-rell. But, since it’s [name_m]French[/name_m] it is pronounced Me-ray. My wife and I much rather prefer the Me-rell but are not into making up new names or pronounciations.
Have you heard of a name pronounced Me-rell? If so, I think we found our name
It would be easiest just to remove the “i” and go with [name_f]Mirelle[/name_f]. Nameberry lists it as a variation of [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] and [name_f]Mira[/name_f]. I think most people would pronounce it the way you’re wanting. There’s also [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] which is a bit more well know.
I knew a girl named [name_u]Merrill[/name_u], it is a real name. You might also like [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], [name_u]Mirren[/name_u], Maron or [name_u]Morgan[/name_u].
I had a few in mind from [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_f]Ayla[/name_f], and Aleira, so I’ll leave them here just in case she doesn’t quite fit [name_f]Mirelle[/name_f] (or [name_f]Kira[/name_f]?) at the last moment
