I’ve been watching E.R on my laptop and in one of the episodes, there’s a mom who had a baby girl and named her [name_f]Cher[/name_f], only she spelled it Chair. [name_m]Even[/name_m] one of the main characters of the series, [name_u]Abby[/name_u], pointed that out to her. The mom wanted her kid’s name to be different or unique. I forget the exact words she said, but I felt really bad for the kid (yeah, I know these are fictional characters. I can’t help it though).
[name_f]Cher[/name_f] as a name is okay, though it does remind me of the very iconic Pop singer. But that’s not a bad thing necessarily. I do like the singer’s music somewhat, just wouldn’t wanna be named after her. Hard to live up to. Spelling it “Chair” is setting the kid up for bullying.
