I’ve always loved [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and I had a hunch even in the womb that it suited him. DH eventually came around and although we weren’t totally decided on delivery day (he was a smidge early) when he popped out we went with it. [name_m]John[/name_m] is to honor DH (whose middle is [name_m]Jon[/name_m]) and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is to honor Reds [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], Scottish ancestor on my side who gave up his surname upon immigrating to the States following the Jacobite revolution in order to avoid retribution for his rebellion. He had something like ten kids but they all took the surname of his wife, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_m]Prior[/name_m], so I thought including [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] in our son’s name was a cool way of bringing it back into the fold!
