Welcome, Baby Maren Annalise!

I am pleased to introduce my second child, a beautiful baby girl by the name of [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].
(pronounced: [name_f]Mare[/name_f]-in [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-leese)

[name_u]Eleven[/name_u] days early on the dot, she arrived at 3:47 PM on [name_u]January[/name_u] 11, 2014. Though we are still not quite sure why she came so early, you can bet that her mama is happy about it!

She is a sister to my son, four year old [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m]. To be honest, we hadn’t settled on a name until dinner time the day she was born (okay, so not that long after, but with [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] we knew about a month prior). We had our shortlist narrowed down to two names: [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Katheryn[/name_f]. Ultimately, she just seemed more like a [name_f]Maren[/name_f] then an [name_u]Abbey[/name_u], plus I liked the flow of the name slightly better.

Since [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]'s middle name honors his grandpa, we wanted baby girl’s to be an honoring name as well. Hubby wanted the middle to honor me (which I thought was very cute), and since my name is [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Katheryn[/name_f], we were pretty set on [name_f]Katheryn[/name_f] as a middle. That is, we were set until a genius berry gave me the wonderful suggestion of putting a spin on my first name and using that instead, pairing my guilty pleasure name [name_f]Maren[/name_f] with the name [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]. It was my favorite from then on, but it wasn’t until we held her in our arms that hubby gave into it 100%.

Her first name was just a name I had heard somewhere and loved. I think it suits her well.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] has been in fairly good health, weighing 7lbs 6oz and 20 inches long when she was born (Not too shabby for eleven days early, huh? But I was three weeks early and was nine pounds, so…). There have been very few (and only extremely minor) health concerns with her so far, but the doctors seem to think she’ll be able to come home tonight!

We are so proud and overjoyed to welcome our second child to the world! Thanks to all the berries who gave me suggestions, you have no idea how much they meant to me!

Congrats on your little daughter! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is beautiful! I prefer the spelling [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], but I see that it honours your name, [name_f]Anna[/name_f], which is very sweet!

Congrats to you on the safe arrival of your second child, [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]. [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] and [name_f]Maren[/name_f] are a wonderful sibling duo. I’m glad to hear she’s getting stronger and will soon be home with her family.

Congratulations! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is great and goes really well with [name_m]Wesley[/name_m].

What a wonderfully named little girl!

Such a gorgeous name! Congratulations!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] both of those names and they are beautiful together!

Congrats! I love the name [name_f]Maren[/name_f]!

That was my suggestion!!!
Awesome choice! That seriously just made my night
Congratulations!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is a very, very beautiful name. Congrats!

Oh, I’m in love with that name! [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to the world [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], she was so excited to meet her parents that she came early!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]… wow wow wow  good luck!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]! [name_m]How[/name_m] lovely! Two amazing names. Congratulations.

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice for your little lady. Big congrats!

I love it! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is simple (but not boring at all) and strong while [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is a little more feminine and traditionally pretty. It’s a great and gorgeous combo.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is gorgeous! Congratulations.

Sorry i haven’t responded at all… [name_f]Maren[/name_f] sure knows how to keep her momma up at night and I haven’t had much spare time in my days to respond, with a four year old and a newborn to care for. Thank you all so much for the kind words about her name, you have all pointed out the very things we loved so much in her name. [name_f]Every[/name_f] day she seems to become more and more like a [name_f]Maren[/name_f], so much so that the thought of naming her [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] seems crazy (tell me I’m not the only momma out there who thinks that after their child is born?)

Anyways she is growing healthy and strong and has already put on several ounces (the doctor literally asked me what I am doing to have such a nearly perfectly healthy baby on my hands  ) She is such and angel and a joy to have around when she isn’t busy keeping us awake and I am so thankful for her.

Congratulations! What a sweet name for a lovely little girl! It matches her brother’s name very well!

Congratulations! I love her name! (I am partial, I admit…my oldest daughter is named [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]!) So glad everyone’s healthy and she can come home soon!

Congratulations! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] go great together!
