Proud to announce the arrival of our baby boy, [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u], born [name_u]June[/name_u] 13th, 2015 and weighing 8 pounds 9 ounces. [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] came via a successful VBAC and we couldn’t be more proud.
Along with just liking the sound and underused quality of the name, we chose [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] since it meant “battle, war” and my husband’s name [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] means “warlike” which tied it together without being an obvious [name_m]Jr[/name_m]. It’s also Scandinavian which is a big part of my husband’s ancestry. The middle name [name_u]River[/name_u] was to continue the natural element that is found in our daughter’s name, [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u].
Many thanks to all the berries who shared my love for [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] and encouraged me to use it! It suits him beautifully!
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u] is the coolest name I have heard in a long time. I think it goes so sweetly with [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u]. Congratulations!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. My SO’s name is [name_m]Marco[/name_m] and [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is also top of my list for a similar reason. I like the pair of the vigorous [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] with a softer, gentler middle like [name_u]River[/name_u].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name! [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is so handsome, and it flows really nicely with [name_u]River[/name_u]. Congrats on your new little boy!
