Our daughter [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u] was born February 21.
We still hadn’t decided on a name when I went into labor and had planned to pick from a list of finalists once we saw her. For the second half of my pregnancy I was really leaning toward [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] but when she popped out we both just knew – she looked like a [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]. Our families had mixed reactions to our decision to do things the British way and use two middle names but ultimately I’m glad we went for it – I couldn’t choose just one! Thanks to everyone for weighing in with advice and opinions on the forum!
I remember this name! Sure enough, I looked back and saw that I commented on how I wish it were my own name! Such a wonderful choice, and congratulations
Congrats to you on the safe arrival of your baby girl, [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u]. You’ve given her a wonderful name to begin her life.
Congrats! [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u] is a beautiful name. She sounds like a heroine in a Victorian novel. Very pretty!
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u] is such a beautiful name! So sweet, and your daughter must be as lovely as her name:) Congratulations!
Thanks all! She’s two weeks old now and I’m even more convinced we made the right choice – [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] really suits her and although we’ve had a couple of issues with mispronunciation (people mistaking it for [name_f]Sicily[/name_f] which kind of boggles my mind – does no one remember phonics lessons?!) I’m not bothered by it and I’m happy we chose a fairly uncommon name that’s still got a solid history Again thanks for all the congrats!
