After deliberating over many names, not knowing which gender our little 'un was to be-we came up with a boy AND girl short list.
During a beautiful water birth, we were still discussing names we liked and ones we were thinking twice about. [name]Even[/name] after our baby girl was brought from underneath me and placed on my chest, and we stared at her - she just didn’t look like any of the names we could come up with.
I really liked [name]Evelyn[/name], my partner not so much but he countered with [name]Evie[/name]… at this point family and friends got the ‘‘no name yet!’’ reply to all their frantic messages.
The day after we were looking up meanings and trying to find a middle name that we felt was right, and my partner stumbled upon [name]Lynn[/name] which means ‘‘pool, waterfall’’ It was meant to be after birthing her in water it was perfect, combined with [name]Evie[/name] which means ‘‘life’’.
