On 7 [name_u]June[/name_u], I became a proud first-time auntie to my sister’s sweet son:

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] :brown_heart:

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] was born at home, in the water, surrounded by his mum, dad, auntie, grandma, and great-grandma! He is a tiny, healthy, strong little boy, and the whole family is so in love!

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] came to my sister the morning they found out that they were having a boy. They had both felt certain that it was a girl and had a long-time favorite girl’s name that they planned to use, but were at a loss for boy names, until my sister said to her husband right before the ultrasound “it’s okay if we’re having a boy, because his name will be Jasper!” It just felt so right, and when they learned the meaning of treasure, they knew that it was the perfect choice for their little gem.

[name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] is after his amazing great-grandfather, who would do anything for his family. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister knew right away that she wanted to honor him with his first great-grandson’s name.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t 1000% sold on the name…. until I saw his sweet photo!! He LOOKS like a [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] Bartholomew!!
