Baby Bonnie joins big brother Marshall Jacob (21 months old)
Their nicknames are:
Marsh & Bon
(And yes we are definitely doing s’mores theme family costumes for halloween this year - hubby and I as the graham crackers, Marshall as the marshmallow, Bonnie as the chocolate)
why we chose her name
Bonnie is a cutesy vintage name that has not quite come back into fashion yet (in the US at least.) which is very much my husband and I’s style. Bonnie means “beautiful” and I think it’s so sweet for our baby girl born in the month of love
Her name is also a perfect blend of her grandmothers names on both sides (Brandy & Stephanie) and has the double N like her daddy (Tanner)
Helen is also an underused vintage gem, and a direct honor to my great grandmother (her great great grandmother) Helen, who I am blessed to say is still here to meet our precious girl.
Altogether her name means beautiful shining light which is my vision of her, on the inside and out.
birth story
We went in to get a membrane sweep on my due date Feb 27 where I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced. Not hours later early labor began! We got to the hospital by 4am Feb 28 and I was 6cm dilated 90% effaced. They started my IV and I barely got the epidural in time before her birth, when I was 8-9cm. She was born that morning at 8:01am. She came out fast and furious just like her big brother.
We are so blessed and happy to have our family now complete and our babies safe in our arms.
B0nni3 H3len is such a sweet name. My friend has a B0nni3 and honestly always admired the name. I think H3len makes a very sweet middle name. She suits her beautiful name she’s gorgeous.
