We welcomed fraternal twins [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Keir[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] on [name_f]May[/name_f] 27th They are younger brothers to [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
In keeping with their sisters name, we wanted our twins names to have a virtue element and a natural world connection. We made lists of both types of names and picked once we had got to know our boys.
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] means peaceful and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] means fortunate, so he has virtues well and truly covered. His first name will be shortened to [name_m]Sol[/name_m] much of the time, of course Latin for the sun, providing the nature element.
[name_m]Keir[/name_m] is a variant spelling of a family surname on my husbands side, and holds the meaning darkness. We loved the yin and yang type connection for our twins, and the implication that they complete each other. [name_m]Keir[/name_m]'s middle name picked itself, he looked like a [name_m]Julian[/name_m] to both of us and what was a last minute inclusion on our list quickly made its way up to the top once we met him. It provides the final virtue connection for our sibset, meaning youthful.
